Penfolds Max's Chardonnay is a cool-climate Chardonnay produced by Penfolds, one of Australia’s most respected and historic wineries. This wine is part of the Max’s tier, created to honour Max Schubert, Penfolds’ pioneering winemaker whose innovations helped shape modern Australian wine.
Colour: Very pale straw with green hues, reflecting youthful freshness.
Aroma (Nose): Expressive and varietal-true, showing fruit characters like green apple, white peach, nectarine and hints of citrus. There are also bakery-style notes such as fresh bread, crème anglaise and subtle oak spice from barrel maturation. 
Flavours: Bright stone fruits (white peach, nectarine), citrus edges (grapefruit or lime), and nougat/creamy French-oak influence from maturation in oak barrels
