It is known for its deep ruby red color and complex aromas of dark fruits like prune and cherry jam, with hints of tobacco. The wine has a long, elegant finish with notes of cocoa, coffee, and vanilla, and is well-balanced with soft, elegant tannins. It's made from old-vine Primitivo grapes, averaging 60 years of age.
