The flavor profile features a rich balance of maritime notes (sea salt, seaweed) with sweet and spicy elements, including ripe fruit, pepper, vanilla, and hints of smoke and chili pepper.

Pale to medium golden colour, reflecting the 10‑year maturation and wood influence.
Medium body — the higher ABV gives weight, but the age keeps it lively.
Nose (Aroma) : Maritime/coastal hints: sea‑air, salted crystals, seaweed and a mild breeze of the ocean.
Underlying vanilla and light oak from the American‑oak casks; lemon or citrus peel in some releases.
In the double‑matured (sherry/Amontillado) versions: wine‑fruit characteristics such as spiced plum, blackberry or dried fruits.
Palate (Taste) : Creamy and smooth texture (despite the high ABV) in many versions—makes for a rich mouthfeel.
