A firm digestive biscuit that has been dunked into a cup of Lapsang tea - there is a hint of funk in the background.

Taste
The mouthfeel is nice - quite thick - the taste starts off slightly bitter and earthy, then burnt caramel before ending up with a slap of spice. The alcohol comes crashing in at the end. Not a very subtle dram, but a proper whisky.

Finish
Medium - the taste of the alcohol lingers a while with a note of burnt apricot.
