The Cardhu 14 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from the 2021 Special Releases, matured in refill American oak casks and finished in red wine casks, resulting in a light-bodied, golden-amber spirit with a creamy-sweet palate of toffee, pear, and apple, a fragrant nose of meadow flowers and pastry, and a warm, spicy finish. The 55.5% ABV, high alcohol content is balanced by a surprisingly smooth and delicate character, with hints of Parma violets, honeycomb, and spice enriching the taste.
